Last year as the holiday season approached, our team looked for ways to celebrate with the Monroe community while staying safe and keeping distance. We planned our first Halloween Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat event. Area businesses came together to sponsor the event. Families, safe in their vehicles, drove through festive Halloween displays and were given candy just like a traditional trick-or-treat. The event was such a success that we decided to bring it back again this year!
On Friday, October 29th, the Green County Fair Grounds transformed into a haunted trick-or-treat! Around 800 community members joined us for the fun-filled night. Kids dressed up in their favorite Halloween costumes and were gifted a variety of tasty treats. We created a digital costume contest for families who could not join us but wanted to share the fun!
