Monroe Truck Equipment team members don’t need to be on our team long to start to make a great impact on our customers and products. At our Flint, MI location, one such person joined our team in December of 2020 and has already become such an important part of our operation and team culture.
We are celebrating the career of our Materials Mover Mike Little, aka Mississippi. After joining our team last year, he has quickly become an integral part of our team. He has a great work ethic and is always willing to go the extra mile for our customers and team– ensuring he does whatever is needed to get the job done.
Mike is originally from Ripley, Mississippi (hence the nickname). In 2017, he was visiting Michigan and decided to stay. He started a family with his girlfriend and is now a father to a young son and daughter.
Outside of work, Mike loves spending time on anything auto! Trucks, cars, motorcycles– you name it. If it has a motor, there’s a good chance he’s worked on it before. He is even building a car for his girlfriend to race!
Mike also volunteers and is chairman for a local substance abuse group. He contributes a lot to our team, and our community at large. We are sure glad he stayed in Michigan! Thank you for your hard work, Mississippi!
